ATTENTION – RENEWAL OF ICOM MEMBERSHIP FOR 2013
ICOM Australia members are reminded that ICOM subscriptions fall due on 1 January 2013 . Renewal Forms are now available on our website ( www.icom.org.au) at the bottom of the Join Us Menu and on-line renewal is also possible for current financial members via the Members area of the website.
The 2013 ICOM stickers are now available and will be mailed to early renewers as soon as possible after receipt of payment. Members wishing to renew prior to the Christmas-New Year period are encouraged to do so sooner rather than later, as
our office will be closing from Friday 21 December to Monday 7 January
and membership renewals received after Wednesday 19 December will not be processed until the New Year.
Anyone planning to travel overseas during December-January and wanting to make use of their ICOM Card both before and after 1 January will need to have both a 2012 and a 2013 sticker attached to it. However, it is no longer possible to renew for 2012 should you have forgotten to do so.
We have kept our 2013 membership subscriptions at the same rates as last year in line with the decision of ICOM headquarters to hold their dues at 2012 levels.
Members are reminded that your ICOM Card and your ICOM sticker are both valuable commodities –not unlike a credit card – and should be treated with similar care. Please ensure that you attach the 2012 sticker (which will be stapled to your receipt) to your Card as soon as you receive it, and please keep the Card in a secure place, as replacement of Cards is both time consuming and costly.
ICOM Australia will impose a $20 Card Replacement fee for 2013 in order to cover the costs incurred (unless your Card is worn our though age and use).
Thank you for your continuing support for ICOM
