Registrations are open: The Meaning of Materials in Modern and Contemporary Art: 2012 AICCM Paintings Group + 20th Century in Paint Symposium
Queensland Art Gallery | Gallery of Modern Art, Brisbane 10-11 December 2012 In 2012, the Australian Institute for the Conservation of Cultural Materials (AICCM) Paintings Special Interest Group symposium will be combined with the final year symposium for The Twentieth Century in Paint Australian Research Council (ARC) Linkage Project. The symposium coincides with a weekend of opening events for the Queensland Art Gallery/Gallery of Modern Art's seventh Asia Pacific Triennial of Contemporary Art. Speakers represent major collecting and research institutions and private conservators from the UK, USA, Holland, The Philippines, New Zealand and Australia.
